Sarah and I have literally been friends since birth. Well, she is six months older than me, but here is proof that I'm not exaggerating:
I'm on the left (in blue) at about 2 weeks old, Sarah is in the pink. So needless to say, our mothers have had many conversations over the past 30 years or so.
The most recent was on Saturday night. Here is how it played out:
Nancy (Sarah's mom): Where did we go wrong?
Pat (my mom): What do you mean?
Nancy: With our daughters! What happened - where did we go wrong?
Pat: What did they do?
Nancy: They are carrying around DOGS in slings instead of babies!!!

My mom calls Cooper her "grand-doggie."
What a cute post!
So cute! I now know what Sarah's momma was talkin' about.
I would also like to say how lucky I am to have been your friend for all this time. It's something special to be able to say that we are truly "life long friends."
Te quiero mi amiga.
Gosh--I do remember that picnic at Maxey Park when that photo was taken. Such beautiful, uncomplicated days when you were little.
Well, of course you're carrying around dogs in slings instead of babies! It would be inappropriate to be drinking Miller Lite and carrying a BABY!
Aw! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that y'all have been friends "since birth"...so lucky indeed! I'm just glad I got to know you as "kids." :o)
