Let me preface this by saying I am incredibly thankful for my job.
But why do all the concerts I want to go to fall on the same nights I have to work? Kings of Leon were so good live at ACL that I would have loved to see them when they pass through. But I'll survive. However, Mumford & Sons / Edward Sharpe & Magnetic Zeros / Old Crow Medicine Show at Stubbs?
Must find a way.

I don't really have much in common with 50 Cent, but I can relate to this line: "I'm that cat by the bar toasting to the good life." Because all in all, life IS good. I realize that I live a semi-charmed kind of life, so this blog is here to celebrate my blessings.
Disclaimer: It is important to mention that there is a difference between being shallow and being stupid, and I will admit that at times I fall into the "shallow" category. Not on purpose, I just really like things that lots of other people find annoying.

It's not at Stubb's. They are creating a venue at 4th and Waller specifically for the event.

You have impeccable taste in music. BTW, there is a slight chance that I am going to a festival this summer with Mumford and many others. Not to make you jealous.
Cheese, I feel obligated to tell you that I will also be going to see New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys this summer. Granted, I do not currently own any of either band's music, but don't give me too much credit.
